Casa Vieja is situated below the village of Puntagorda, in the sunny sunny west side of the island La Palma
This holiday house stands at about 600M above sea level in a natural setting.
There is a large garden with a variety of plants, flowers, shrubs and trees.
Casa Vieja is suitable for 1 or 2 persons + child up to 3 years.
Several shops and a restaurant are within walking distance.

There is a good view over the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the view, the sea view, the peace and quiet, the sunset and at night thousands of stars.
Accommodation
Casa Vieja is a spacious holiday house with a living room, a kitchen, 1 bedroom and a bathroom.
In front of the house is a terrace with garden fourniture and sunbeds, in the garden you'll find a barbecue area with bbq and tabel and chairs.
In the living room is a comfortable sitting corner and you'll find SAT TV/radio, DVD player, video player and a readio/cd player.

The door opens onto the terrace.

 
The kitchen is well equipped, You'll find all the things you need to prepare and eat your meals.
There is a gas hob with oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, fruit juicer and a wide assortment of cutlery.
There are a table with chairs.
 
In the bedroom are a double bed (150x190), bedside tables and a wardrobe.

In the bathroom you'll find a bath with shower, wash basin, wc and bidet and a washing machine.
 
In the garden of Casa Vieja is a barbecue area with bbq and garden fourniture.
 
Area
Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
